TIPS is a non-profit 501 c(3) foundation dedicated to improving the lives of others.

- To provide and fund low cost, high quality training and skill development programs for individuals who live, work, play with or have a developmental disability.
- To support programs and projects that enhances opportunities for prevention and intervention related to developmental disabilities.
- To raise funds to support the projects undertaken by the T.I.P.S. Foundation and the infrastructure of the organization.

- To provide cutting edge, best practice training, conferences and workshops for:
- Professionals in the field of intervention and related fields
- Family and caregivers of people with disabilities
- Children, youth and adults who have disabilities
- Community members interested in including people with disabilities.
- To provide funding for conferences, workshops and other training opportunities for:

- To provide outreach activities to targeted populations
- To solicit funds to meet the program needs
Our Philosophy
Every day we are learning more and more about development and how to re-mediate the effects of developmental disabilities. 
The board of directors of TIPS believes that by providing a variety of low cost, high quality opportunities for skill enhancement;
- Professionals will have greater opportunity to effect changes,
- Parents will be knowledgeable about what options they have for maximizing their child’s development,
- Friends and helpers will be able to be more helpful, patient and nurturing and…
- Individual’s with disabilities will have the opportunity to learn skills and advocate for their own needs for maximizing skill development and inclusion in community, home, school and life’s adventures.
