Everyone learns different skills at different paces and in different ways. Teachers at Step by Step are trained in a variety of disciplines. We take the time to observe and identify how each child learns and present the curriculm in a way that most effectively ‘speaks’ to your child, the Individual. We also follow the state standards for a quality early childhood education program modeled after a variety of developmental and psychological theories including elements of Maria Montessori, Barry Prizant, Dan Segal, Jean Pieget, Brazelton, Greenspan, Magna Gerber, Toni Linder, and other models of best practice in child development.
